Why is Spay and Neuter Important?

The Lenoir County SPCA consistently receives 2,000+ homeless dogs and cats each year, mostly due to unwanted & preventable litters. That number doesn't include the homeless pets that don't end up at the shelter. Spaying and neutering your animals ensures that there is less animal suffering and the abandoned pet population stays under control.

Be part of the solution by having your pets spayed and neutered!

If you have a pet that was recently taken in and needs to be spayed/neutered. Contact Happy Jacks in Snow Hill for a voucher.

Please donate to our SPAY/NEUTER Fund so we can help more people and pets in our community!
